Y-Pattern Passing
- Set-up
- Three players in a Y-shape, 10m apart. Ball starts at the base and moves through the pattern; players rotate to the position they passed to.
- Focus
- Body shape before receiving, first touch across the body, weight of pass.
- Coaching points
- Open before you receive. First touch out of your feet toward the next pass — not straight at yourself.
- Progression
- Add a second ball. Add a rule: two-touch only. Increase the distance.
