Counter-Press (6 Seconds)
- Set-up
- 8v8 on 40×30m pitch. When possession is lost, the losing team has 6 seconds to win it back before dropping into shape.
- Focus
- Immediate reaction to loss, collective pressing, discipline to drop.
- Coaching points
- First man closes the ball. Second and third cut passing lanes. Six seconds or drop.
- Progression
- Shorten to 4 seconds. Add a rule: winning it back = 2 points.
